Modern School/College Students Explore Nepal’s Inflation Challenge Through Presentation Competition
The participants presented their perspectives on the causes of inflation, rising prices, their effects on household purchasing power, and the broader implications for Nepal’s economy.
Bhaktapur, September 29, 2026 – Modern School/College organized a presentation competition for Grade 11 students on the topic “Causes and Effects of Inflation in Nepal: A Contemporary Economic Challenge” today, providing students with a platform to explore one of the most pressing economic issues through research, analysis, and effective presentation.
The competition aimed to enhance students’ understanding of inflation and its impact on Nepal’s economy while developing their public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills.
The programme was coordinated by Mani Bhaila, Class In-charge, with a panel of judges comprising faculty members Rajeev Bista, Sharmila Khyamali, and Simon Dewapatey.
Following the presentations and evaluation, Melish Ban and Nirav Subedi secured first position, while Simrika Khadka and Simran Khadka finished second. Similarly, Sujita Adhikari and Harshit Neupane secured third position in the competition.
