“When I look back at my time at Modern, I realise that the Mr. Modern contest gave me something that went far beyond a title. It taught me to stand before people without fear, to express myself, and to believe that I had something worth saying. In many ways, it was where I first began to discover the person I could become. It game me opportunities that slowly shaped my confidence, character, and the way I see myself. The lessons I learned there have stayed with me long after I left the classroom. When I think about who I am today, I know that a part of that person was shaped during those years at Modern.”
